     After having a rewarding career in the military and then in the logistics field. I found out I had another calling, it is hair. Although at this time I’m losing mine due to male pattern baldness, in my heart I know there is a cure. But until that day it will slowly disappear. I also came to realize there are other men out there with the same problem as mine. I also realized that as older barbers retire there are not enough barbers within my age group to replace them.

     

     The question is do we want younger barbers that can’t keep their pants up off the ground? Or the fact that one hand is cutting your hair while the other is holding his pants up simultaneously. I said to myself "no way." So I went to barber school to help fulfill the needs of others looking for an old-fashioned barber, while also showing interest in the younger generations to build lasting relationships.

     

     Also, another calling of mine is to serve the needy in the community who can’t afford to get their haircut. It is our mission to help the less fortunate when times are down. By helping those in need the return is much greater and the gift of giving may be passed on to the next individual.
